Vivid memories of this song. Our 8th grade cross country team trekking across Pennsylvania for an adventure. Our coach, father Leopold, was the kindest, most giving, commited soul I’ve ever met. Unfortunately, he passed abruptly after I left school. I guess the good lord needed him. I know he’s looking down at all his students watching over us. I miss my youth and I miss my friends so much. And thank you father for being an inspiration. This song is my youth.
Still remember sitting in my highrise office back in ‘84 with my silly, shamelessly ambitious colleagues with this song replaying in my head and wondering if the lousy bunch knew what real life was. How i miss an idyllic location right now…
