It’s interesting, some of the little rhythmic things he does. Exceptional playing.
i think the best performance is richter!
Wow, some people must really have sad lives…
The only real regret is: one cannot have the video of Grigory Ginsburg! What a loss! And what a gem of an artist he was!
How immature can these people get?
To ALL listeners: This piece is a miracle of evocative imagination.A whole universe has been fit into this brief and narrow aural dimension.I’m flagging this for being obscenely good.
We will do, don’t worry.
Btw, screw them all!
To ALL visitors:
My channel is under “attack” by former YT user tHEnOOSEsWING & Co. They rate video with 1 star and mark comments “thumbs down”. Please ignore and mark it up!
Liszt is a composer that you can revisit countless times and find something new every time. The greatest genius of the 19th century.
Could I embody and unbosom now
That which is most within me, – could I wreak
My thoughts upon expression, and thus throw
Soul, heart, mind, passions, feelings, strong and weak,
All that I would have sought, and all I seek,
Bear, know, feel, and yet breathe – into ONE word,
And that one word would were Lightning, I would speak;
But as it is, I live and die unheard,
With a most voiceless thought, sheathing it as a sword.”
(Lord Byron)
I hadn’t heard this suite for a couple of years at least. What a find! Liszt never ceases to amaze me *****
