Adela is proof that just because something terrible has happened to you in the past, it is not an excuse to become addicted to anything. People use that as an excuse and cling onto it to make themselves feel better, to get attention and to have people feel sorry for them. I do not feel sorry for her. I feel sorry for her children, who (like Pam) grew up half their lives without a mother (just like Pam grew up). You’d think she would want to NOT be like her own mother..

We would literally be talking at the same time because I like U have some crazy stories. thank God we got away and washed our hands of these people. Think of the people that stay, and stay and stay. I would have been a crazy lunatic myself or dead like they are now. May they now rest in peace because they sure didn’t have it hear and didn’t really want it.

rudie, call me. we’ll swap stories. LOL

Oh yes it can be a tear-jerker, especially when I see the kids. They are so innocent and sad. I find my eyes watering up and glad that I am in the room by myself.
-
I’ve watched all of the interventions, just so I can see what my life would have been like, had I stayed with that psychotic, paranoid, drunken maniac. Although I find it humorous, it still brings a tear to my eye, at least once per episode.

Funny you should say that, not to be Mr. Schadenfreude and take pure delight in other’s misfortunes, but my ex-wife has wrecked (not killed) the lives of 2 other men. I never prayed for death with her, but she only got worse, so I am thinking they were praying for death. oh, the stories I could tell. She tried to make me jealous by prancing her new boyfriend in front of me. It backfired when I befriended the guy. I never talked one bit of trash about her, and her psychosis took over.

I understand, hell we only have one life to live and I’ll be damn if I’m going to let someone ruin it for me. I’ve been there too and left very early into the relationship, thank God I did because he destroyed himself and the next women, they both died as a result of his and then her negligence. She put up with his stupid mess. Good for you.

I was married to a lady just like this. After a few months of the same shit over and over and over and over, i just stopped listening. Then she said i wasn’t supportive. I told her support means helping. I can’t help you. I divorced her a few months later. Same shit, over and over again.
-
I hate it when people keep bringing up the same shit over and over. But she is one sick person, physically and mentally. I still feel sorry for her for having a ho and slut for a mother.
-
i feel bad for marvin, he is a nice guy to take her in, love her and then she nags him to death…..but then she asks him to come in and hold her and he says go to sleep? no wonder she took off lol
-
Pam said they were family members.
-
I took this comment as sarcastic. Was I wrong?
-

So have you stopped drinking? And if not, you think an intervention would work with you? Seems like addicts have a hell of a time quitting, rehab or no… -
Also, the number is the only ID I could get to work.
-
I mean the show is pathetic…the way they exploit the person and the scary music and everything.

Why would you get negative ratings for that? This show is really SAD. Pam actually seems very sweet when she’s not on a downward spiral. And what’s with the numbery ID number? 51398696?

They balme the boyfriend for giving her money ??? She would just get it somewhere else it’s not him giving her money that’s the problem
-
This is sad…I will probably get negative ratings for this. But, it’s kind of pathetic. I am an alcohol-addicted person. There is hope though. This show is so depressing.
-
i just want to hug this woman and never let go.
-
Before people have children they should watch this show to see how bad parenting effects a person for the rest of their life.

getting cerrhosis of the liver is one of the most horrible deaths you can have. people think you just turn yellow and die. you dont. when the liver hardens and blood cannot get to it then your veins start to blow and you throw up about a pint of blood each time till you get to the e.r. about once a week untill death.

Actually badsign your correct about the bering straight connecting the old world to the new BUT the Pacific islanders actually did make it across the vast Pacific to reach South America. Their DNA has been found in people living there still.

I know how she feels. There are lots of masks that people use to cover up the pain, whether it be alcohol, drugs or food. I know. It hurts real bad and sometimes you need help overcoming.
